What is a communicable disease?
A disease/illness that can be spread from one organism to another
How is measles spread?
Inhalation of droplets produced by infecting people when sneezing and coughing
What are the symptoms of measles?
- fever
- red skin rash
- spots
- young children are vaccinated to immune them

- sexual contact
- sharing body fluids
What are the symptoms of HIV?
- flu like symptoms
= virus attacks the body’s immune cells which leads to AIDS

Mosaic pattern of discolouration on the leaves

Poultry are vaccinated

Sexually transmitted

Symptoms - thick yellow or green discharge
Prevention - antibiotics
