Being Hygienic, Destroying vectors, Isolating infected individuals, vaccination
What is a vaccination?
injecting small amounts of dead or inactive pathogens with these your bodies white blood cells can produce antibodies and if you ever get the disease after the white blood cells can rapidly produce antibodies to kill the pathogen
Are there any bad things about vaccination?
Sometimes it doesn’t work and it may have bad side affects
What are painkillers?
Drugs that reduce pain but don’t kill or tackle the pathogen, they just reduce symptoms
What does it mean if some of the bacteria have mutated to be resistant to the antibiotics?
They won’t be killed

How is measles spread?
Droplets in an infected person’s sneeze or cough
How is HIV spread?
sexual contact or exchanging bodily fluids

discolours leaves so they can’t photosynthesize
What are symptoms of rose black spot?
Purple or black spots on the leaves until they turn yellow and fall off
What are the symptoms of malaria?
Repeating fever which can be fatal
