- high blood pressure/high cholesterol
- diabetes
- smoking
- obesity/unhealthy diet, physically inactive

High blood pressure
A
-damages lining of the arteries, making it easy to the build up of plaque which narrows arteries to the heart and brain

A
-excess cholesterol builds up in the walls of the arteries which reduces blood flow to the brain, heart and other oranges

Diabetes
A
- increase risk (doubled) high blood sugar from diabetes damages blood vessels in heart,brain and other organs
- Diabetes increases cholesterol levels

Smoking
A
- damages cells that blind blood vessels
- increases the buildup of plaque in blood vessels
- thinking/narrowing blood vessels
- makes blood sticky= more likely to clot that block blood flow to heart and brain
