How does discitis happen ?
A
Secondary to another infection in the body such as respiratory tract infections (pneumonia) or oral infection.

Where is Discitis commonly seen ?
A
LUMBER SPINE.

What are the x ray appearances of discitis ?
A
Ill defined or irregular vertebral disc spaces
Disc space narrowing
If untreated sclerosis after 10 weeks.
