What is confidentiality?
The protection of data to ensure that it is only accessible by authorized parties and is protected from disclosure to unauthorized parties.
What is integrity?
The protection of data such that no parties can make unauthorized modifications to it, intentional or unintentional.
What is availability?
Ensuring that information resources are accessible and usable.
What is the difference between authentication and authorization?
Authentication verifies the identity of a user, while authorization determines their access rights.
What is non-repudiation?
To ensure that any party in a communication cannot deny having sent or received a piece of data.
What is privacy?
Privacy is a branch of information security concerned with proper handling of data, by governing the way data is used and stored.
What is authentication?
To ensure that a person who is trying to access an information system is who the person claims to be.
