Dignities can indicate the power of planets in certain signs. In this deck you will learn where each planet is in domicile, exalted, in detriment and in fall as well as learning what that actually means.
What does it mean if a planet is in domicile?
The planet is in it’s ruling sign(s) (the sign that most embodies that planets energy). The planet is most happy, powerful and energised while domicile.
What does it mean if a planet is exalted?
The planet is in the sign which makes it “dignified”. This boosts it power and draws special awareness to the energy of this planet or sign within the chart.
What does it mean if a planet is in detriment?
The planet is in a sign that makes it uncomfortable. This weakens the energy given off by this planet or sign, making it less prominent within the chart.
What does it mean if a planet is in fall?
The planet is in the sign that makes it most difficult for it to function. This causes the planet to struggle to have any influence over the person and their chart. This can lead to problems in the areas of their life associated with the planet or sign.
