digestive system is made up of the gastrointestinal tract—also called the GI tract or digestive tract—and the liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.

What does the liver do to help digestion?
A
The liver has many functions, but its main job within the digestive system is to process the nutrients absorbed from the small intestine.
