A

It presents with pain, stiffness and tenderness in muslces. Proximal muscles are predominently affected.

A

Creatine kinase monitors disease progression
anti-Jo-1 commonest antibody
80% of patients are ANA positive
Spirometry to monitor respiratory involvement
