What is diffuse large b cell lymphoma?
A
Aggressive mature b cell lymphoma that accounts for 30% of all NHL

Who does it affect?
A
Elderly people

What is seen on morphology?
A
Sheets of large b cells are seen in or after the germinal centre
If they are found within the germinal centre then this is a better prognostic phenotype associated with ongoing Ig mutations, bcl2, c-rel amplification

What are the cytogenetic abnormalities?
A
P53 is affected this has the worst prognosis
