What is pressure Group?
A pressure group is an organisation that aims to influence political decisions.
What are insider pressure groups?
Those that are consulted by the government and therefore have insider status.
What is an Outside pressure group?
Those that are not consulted by the government and instead try to influence political decision making from the outside.

What are the British medical association aims
- Act as the doctor’s trade union, to improve pay and conditions.
- It lobbies the government to improve healthcare and public healthcare e.g. sugar tax

- It influences the government when making new policies
- April 2018 government introduced a sugar tax.

- Campaigned against micro beads (small plastic particles used in toiletries e.g. toothpaste) as it can lead to water contamination. It was banned in 2017 by the Con. gov.

- The london reached its legal site pollution limit just 1 month into 2018. The government isn’t taken drastic measures.

- to help create lasting solutions to the injustice of poverty.
- to provide food, clothes, resources, for the less fortunate.

- They are a far right, islamophobic group.
