AIDS
Occurs 1-6 weeks after infection, no symptoms, can infect other people
Stage 1 (Primary) HIV
Lasts for an average of 10 years, free from symptoms, HIV antibodies are detectable in the blood
Stage 2 (Asymptomatic) HIV
Symptoms are mild, immune system deteriorates, infections and cancer
Stage 3 (Symptomatic) HIV
Immune system weakens, become more severe and leads to AIDS
