Treatment of diarrhoea

A

Treat cause
oral/IV rehydration
Codeine phosphate or loperamide after each loose stool
anti-emetic if needed (e.g. prochlorperazine)
Abx (e.g. cipro) in infective diarrhoea -> systemic illness
