-It causes severe dehydration

What are some diarrhoea causing bacterium
A
-Ecoli
-Cholera

What is Ecoli
A
-A bacterium that naturally occurs in your large intestine that helps digest food so we’re able to absorb the nutrients
-If Ecoli is ingested into the stomach or small intestine it can cause severe diarrhea and cramps.
As well as a fever, nausea and vomiting

What is cholera
A
-Caused by the bacterium Vibrio cholerae
-The bacterium releases a toxin that causes the cells in the intestines to release water which causes severe diarrhoea

A
-Consuming food that is contaminated by faecal matter
