1 - Voluntary euthansia : when a person requests for it eg lots of pain
- Involuntary euthanasia: when a person is unable to request for example in a coma
2 - Passive euthansais: withholding treatment that if administered would keep the person alive
- Active euthanasia: deliberately ending a persons life eg with lethal drugs
