Chest X-ray: no cloudiness is normal, cloudy is abnormal (atelectasis)
Arterial Blood Gases
Sputum Culture and Sensitivity:
culture- tells you what organisms are living in the sputum
sensitivity- helps you figure out what antibiotic will kill it
CT Scans
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Bronchoscopy: is used to view the airways and check for any abnormalities
Thoracentesis: CNS to find what is that fluid, inside of lungs, possible for you to get fluid into your pleura space
