Why do you want a role in HR?

Answer 1

1. Really enjoy working with others and find people very interesting
   - had a variety of experience with hierarchies in the workplace & management- waitress,volunteer and supermarket assistant
   - witnessed the consequences of effective and ineffective management- effects on morale, efficiency and the relationship between employees and the employer
   - i appreciate what effective management looks like and i would like to have a role where i am involved in making the workplace as positive and efficient as possible
2. I enjoy problem solving and have been able to develop my abilities through my degree
   - at work i have to interact with customers and respond to their queries- in a typical shift i am faced with lots of different issues and i have to problem solve to provide solutions for customers and to ensure they leave happy

1. Diageo- unique global company that owns brands that produce infamous products- known and loved worldwide
   - love to be part of the team that is ultimately making these brands and products even better for consumers and continuing to bring them into the 21st century
2. At Diageo there is rich diversity in the people that work there and the brands- 200+ unique brands- know i’d be exposed to a variety of opportunities and challenges- and therefore i think diageo would be the ideal place to launch my career
3. I think its very important that Diageo takes it’s social responsibility seriously- really encouraging to see diageo supporting WHOs goal to reduce harmful drinking, and also diageos plans to reduce the environmental impact of its different brands & products- i know i would be proud to say that i worked for here- know diageo does not take for granted its status as a global leader as a provider of alcoholic beverages

What skills do you have that make you suitable for this role?

Answer 3

1. Teamwork-
   part time work- greatly developed my interpersonal skills, customer facing= as a result- high level of emotional intelligence
2. Problem solving
   greatly developed through Uni
   -experiments and lab reports- statistically analyse data and draw conclusions from results and explain any anomalies
   anatomy project
3. Innovation and creativity
   final year dissertation- educational video summarising my project aimed at GCSE students
   new area, did a lot of research on technicalities
   used my imagination and creativity to produce a fun, informative video
   love to use these skills in my job
