Engine Failure Before Rotation (p.17)
Power Levers = Idle
Brakes = Apply
Engine Failure Airborne, Prior to Vmc (p.17)
Power Levers = Retard to Control Aircraft
Land Straight Ahead
Engine Failure Airborne, Above Vmc (p.17)
Power Levers = Max Power
Prop Levers = Full Fine

Check for Fire
Engine Shutdown Drill (p.18)
Power Lever = Idle
Prop Lever = Feather
Fuel Lever = Off
Engine Failure in Flight (p.18)
Power Levers = Max Power
Prop Levers = As Required
Inoperative Engine:
Engine Shutdown Drill
Low Oil Pressure Caution Range 40-80 PSI (p.20)
Oil Pressure Less than 80 PSI at or Above 72% Ng
Power Lever (Affected Engine) = Reduce Ng to 70%
OIL PRESSURE Light (p.20)
Oil Pressure Light = On
Check Oil Pressure Gauges if Oil Pressure Gauge below 40 PSI and Caution Light On:
Complete “Engine Failure Clean-Up” Checklist ´p.19
High T5, Hung Start, No Light Up (p.23)
Fuel Lever (Affected Engine) = Off
Starter (Affected Engine) = Motor 10 Seconds
No GENERATOR Light After Start (p.23)
Generator Switch (Affected Side) = Off
If the GENERATOR Light turns back On than this is the End of Procedure
If Still No Generator Light:
Bus Tie = Open
DC Master Switch = Off
Fuel Lever = Off
Manual Feather Drill (p.27)
Prop Lever = Feather
Prop Overspeed (p.27)
If Np Exceeds 101.5%:
Power Lever = Idle
Prop Lever = Feather
Fuel Lever = Lever
If Np Exceeds 96% but is at it Below 101.5%:
Prop Lever (Affected Engine) = Full Fine
Land ASAP
Unscheduled Feather (p.27)
(Rapid Torque Increase, Np Decrease)
Power Lever (Affected Engine) = Retard
Power Lever (Operating Engine) = Add Power
Prop Lever (Operating Engine) = As Required
Check for Steady BETA Light
Unscheduled Prop Reversal (p.28)
Engine Shutdown Drill:
Power Lever = Idle
Prop Lever = Feather
Fuel Lever = Off
RESET PROPS Light (p.28)
During Final Approach:
Prop Levers = Full Fine Max RPM (96%)
Steady BETA Light (p.31)
BETA Light On, Slow Torque Increase
Power Lever = Retard to Prevent Overtorque
BETA SYS CB = Pull
Restore Normal Power = Consider BETA Back-up U/S
Single GENERATOR Light (p.35)
Generator Switch = Off/Reset/On
Dual GENERATOR Lights (p.36)
Inverter Switch = Select #1
Bus Tie = Open
Generator Switches = Both Off
L Generator = Off/Reset/On
R Generator = Off/Reset/On
400 Cycle Light (p.37)
Inverter Switch = Select Opposite Side
BOOST PUMP Light (p.41)
BST PUMP 1 CB = Pull
Double BOOST PUMP Failure (Same Tank) (p.41)
STBY BOOST PUMP EMER Switch = On
BST PUMP 1 CB = Pull
If both BOOST PUMP Caution Lights Remain On:
Fuel Selector Rotary = Select Unaffected Tank
FUEL LOW LEVEL Light (p.42)
Fuel Quantity = Check
Avoid Extreme or Prolonged Ups and Downs
If Possible Switch to Unaffected Tank
DOORS UNLOCKED Light (p.49)
Seat Belt Sign = On
Do Not Attempt to Secure Doors
Land ASAP
DUCT OVERHEAT Light (p.49)
RAM AIR Lever = Open
MANUAL COOL/WARM Switch = Adjust for Lower Temp
PNEUMATIC LOW PRESS Light (p.49)
BLEED AIR Switch = On
CABIN HEAT mode Switch = Off
Increase Ng to Greater than 70%
If PNEUMATIC LOW PRESS Light Does Not Go Out:
Avoid Icing Conditions
Emergency Descent (p.52)
Power Levers = Idle
Prop Levers = Full Fine
Airspeed = Fast (166 KIAS) or Slow (93 KIAS)
Begin Recovery 300 ft Above Desired Altitude
TAWS/GPWS Warning (p.57)
Initiate Max Power Climb
