Takeoff Briefing (Complete)

A

This will be a Normal Takeoff with 10 flaps runway ___.

Speeds will be Vmc 64 kts, and Vyse 80 kts.

Call engine malfunctions or caution Lights.

Call power set, 40 kts, and Vmc at 64 kts.

The Captain will call and initiate reject for any malfunctions or caution lights that affect the safety of flight prior to rotation.

Airborne we will continue.

No vital actions below Level Off (___ ft AAE) unless we have an Autofeather Malfunction or an Engine Fire.

At Level Off complete the vital actions and continue the climb.

Standby (ATC and Pax).

Through 1500 ft AAE (or Level Off VFR) decide “where to” as per clearance or MSA.

When appropriate we will complete the Emergency Checklist, Normal Checklist, TESTRA, and plan an Emergency Return IFR or VFR.

“This will be a STEEP TURN at 45 degrees of bank.

Configuration 90 kts/Flaps 10 or 120 kts/Flaps Up.

Altitude of ___ and a heading of ___ degrees.

Call me any deviation of:

+/- 10 kts On the airspeed.

+/- 10 degrees on the bank angle.

+/- 100 feet on the altitude.
