What are delinquent subcultures?
Deviant behaviour e.g. vandalism, joyriding - may not necessarily be criminal. E.g. ‘hanging around’ in large groups.
What are criminal subcultures?
Subcultures that partake in criminal activities. E.g. drug-dealing, burglary, etc.
What are gangs?
May be a criminal or delinquent group, or a mix of both.
What are spectacular youth subcultures?
Mods, punks, hippies, etc.
What are anti-school subcultures?
Against values and norms of school - not necessarily anti-education.
What are the five deviant youth subcultures?
Delinquent, criminal, gangs, spectacular youth subcultures, anti-school subcultures.
