  2. HDI: Human Development Index. Calculated using life expectancy, education, and per capita income.
  3. Infant mortality: How many children per 1000 die before they are 1
  4. Literacy rate: The % of adults that read and write acceptably.

Explain which of the development indicators is the most useful and why.

A

GNI is an average economic measure so may not show the economic inequality within a country.

GNI Per Capita is more useful as it considers the population.

The most useful one is HDI as this is a mixture of social and economic indicators.
