Q
peripheral sentisisatoin
A
chemical mediators - macrophages, neutrophils, mast cells - release chemicals - PGE2, bradykinin, adrenaline which stimulate different receptors on nociceptive terminal , allow ions to move into nerve
also NGF binds to TrkA and stimulates expression of new receptors
threshold for depot lowered - small stimulus will result in activation
