When drugs are tested in human cells and tissues
What is the order of preclinical testing

Why do they test on animals
To test the efficiency , to find out about its toxicity and to find the best dosage
Why is the drug tested on healthy volunteers first
To make sure is has no harmful side effects
Why are patients put into groups of two
To test how well the drugs work
Why is one group given a placebo drug and one given the new drug
To see if the new drug makes a difference
What are blind trial
Where the patient doesn’t know what drug they are getting
What is double bling testing
Where the patient nor the doctor knows what drug the patient is getting
Why are the results of the drug testing and trial not published until they have been through peer review
