What are pathogens ?
Pathogens are microorganisms that enter the body and cause disease
What kind of disease do pathogens cause ?

What can be infected by pathogens ?
Both plants and animals can be infected by pathogens
What is bacteria
Bacteria are very small cells
What do they do inside your body
Reproduce rapidly
How can they make you feel ill
They make you feel ill by producing toxins that damage your cells and tissues
Are viruses cells ?
Viruses are not cells
What do they have in common with bacteria
They reproduce rapidly inside your body
Using the cells machinery what do viruses do
They live inside your body and replicate themselves using your cross machinery to produce many copies of themselves, this cell will usually then burst, releasing all the new viruses.
After the cell bursts releasing all the new viruses what is the affect
This cell damage makes you feel ill
