Design Coordination Flashcards
1
Q
Design Coordination Purpose
A
- The purpose of the Design Coordination process is to ensure that the goals & objectives of the Service Design phase is met.
- Provide & maintain a single point of coordination and control for all activities an processes within this stage of the service lifecycle.
2
Q
Design Coordination Objectives
A
- Coordinate all design activities across projects, changes, suppliers, & support teams
- Plan & coordinate the resources & capabilities required to design new or changed services.
- Produce Service Design Packages (SDPs) based on service charters and change requests.
- Manage the quality criteria, requirements, and handover points between Service Design, Service Strategy, and Service Transition.
- Ensure that all service models & service solution designs conform to strategic, architectural, governance, and other corporate requirements.
- Improve the effectiveness & efficiency of Service Design Activities & Processes.
- Ensure that all parties adopt a common framework of standard, reusable design practices in the form of activities, processes and supporting systems, whenever appropriate.
