these types of lighting was chosen to tell a story, it starts with a soft spotlight to highlight the intent, as we see the unfaithful partners and as the story unravels the lighting becomes more dramatic to match the story line
describe the music used in the routine ‘cry me a river’
she chose a very emotional and crescendo piece of music, starts soft and small and builds up to be very intense and emotional
why as this music chosen for this piece?
the emotional musics help build suspense and adds emotion to the story line. the music is very loud and has many accents to help accentuate the choreography and accentuates the whole piece

they used rolling staircases through the whole piece
dark clouds and stormy backdrop
why were these props chosen for this piece
the stairs were used to add levels and dimensions to the piece and helps make the choreographer more effective
the backdrop adds a moody and dramatic feeling to intrigue the audience and add to the story line

both boys and girls wearing a black and silver body suit with black cargo lightweight pants
the bodysuit is crossed with lots of fabrics creating shapes and sharp lines
why were these costumes chosen
they are wearing lightweight stretchy pants to ensure they were able to dance without being constricted by there clothing. they chose to wear dark costumes to keep with the emotional moody themes displayed through there music and props as well
why as this hair and makeup chosen
the girls hair is slicked bald and heart to keep it out of their face so it doesn’t distract the dancer or the audience, the makeup for both boys and girls is put on to accentuate the facial features and so the audience can see their facials expression clearly

hair and makeup for girls;
neatly slicked back into a tight bun with foundation, eye make-up, and red lipstick

natural hair and light make-up
