How is a ‘Design a study (experiment/observation/correlation)’ question structured? How do you answer it?

Answer 1

Design either an experiment, observation or correlation (will use the word relationship).

-4 bullet points - 3 marks for each.
-Need to justify your choices in context with the question.
-Sometimes could be more than one answer, hence the justification is needed.
-Control of EVs - use as further justification - again in context with the question - anything that stops the constant nature of the environment - anything that could impact the IV’s impact on the DV.
-Only need as many as the question says.

*Descriptive statistics = measures of central tendency / measures of dispersion.
*Inferential statistics = stats tests
*Data presentation = graphs
