Symmetrical heliotrope rash
Flat-topped violaceous scaly papules and plaques over the knuckles, elbows and knees - Gottron’s papules
Dilated nail fold capillaries
Erythema and poikiloderma in a photosensitive distribution
Proximal muscle weakness and tenderness
