What are some treatment option of eczema?
Emollients

What is asteatotic dermatitis? Who gets it?
A skin condition caused by dry skin
Typically the elderly
Also can be in those with hypothyroidism, or those on diuretics or lipid lowering drugs
What is seborrhoeic dermatitis? What causes it?
It is a common, chronic or relapsing form of eczema/dermatitis that mainly affects the scalp and face
Pathophysiology is not fully understood, associated with proliferation of the yeast form of Malazzesia
What are seborrhoeic keratosis?
Warty like benign lesions in that occur very commonly in the elderly
What are solar keratoses (aka actinic keratoses)?
Scaly lesions that occur in sun exposed areas due to DNA damage. Can be considered pre-cancerous
