PUPPS
Intense pruritis abdomen, involving the stria and thighs
No negative preg outcomes
Tx with oral antihistamine, emollients, topical and oral steroids
Pruritic folliculitis of pregnancy
Sterile pustules, mucous membranes involved. Systemic symptoms
Maternal sepsis,
Antibiotics, oral steroids
Herpes gestationalis or pemphigoid gestationalis
Urticarial papules and plaques that evolve into
Vesicles and bullae
Possible increased risk of preterm birth and transient neonatal lesions, SGA
Oral antihistamines and topical steroids and oral steroids
Prurigo of pregnancy
Erythematous papules and nodules on the extensor surfaces of extremities
No adverse outcomes
Topical steroids and oral antihistamines
Impetigo herpetiformis
Round, arched or polycystic patches covered with small pustules. Most common on those annoying. Mucous membranes may be involved
Increased fetal morbidity
Corticosteroids, antibiotics for secondary infection
