Use a magnifying camera called dermatoscope to take a pic and analyse it
they might screen your body for potential lesions using magnifying glasses
might require multiple biopsies > any potential lesion found, removed
Cholinergic urticaria
No treatment needed
Reduce temp at home, reduce temp of water
Give meds if travelling to warm country
Eczema
Emollient called Dermol
Apply regularly after washing, don’t rub
Avoid bubble bath/soap/shampoo
If no benefit > weak steroids
If affects life > CBT
Cat Scratch
If wound clean + cat domestic + immunised, no need to worry
ABx as prophylaxis of 5 days
Keep wound clean and safety netting
Hair loss (Tacrolimus)
Patchy hair loss

Refer to specialist to review medication
Don’t stop taking until specialist sees
Advice on wigs/cosmetic hair styling
Scabies
2 doses of 5% permethrin - 1 week apart
All over the body + for 8-10 hours
Reapply if wash hands
Decontaminate clothes
Prophylaxis for household
Acne
Start BPO apply once in the evening for 3 months - initially makes skin dry but then gets better
Counsel about skin > not caused by poor hygiene
Use slightly acidic skin products/avoid oil based skin products
Avoid picking > scarring
FU in 3 months > ABx
