History of inflammatory bowel disease or a history of antibiotic-associated colitis.

Caution is advised when prescribing to people with atopy.

Contraindication of oral antibiotics for acne

A

Hypersensitivity

Avoid use of tetracyclines in myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness may be increased), systemic lupus erythematosus (may be exacerbated), hepatic and renal impairment.
