What are the diagnostic criteria for Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder?
- Severe, recurrent temper outbursts manifest verbally & behaviorally & inconsistent with developmental level
- Mood between outbursts = irritable/angry
- Present for >12 months in at least 2 settings
- Age 7-18 for diagnosis and onset before 10
What are the diagnostic criteria for Major Depressive Disorder?
- 5 or more of SIGECAPS for at least 2 weeks
- 1 symptom must be depressed mood/anhedonia
What are the diagnostic criteria for Persistent Depressive Disorder?
Depressed mood most of the time for at least 2 years + 2 or more of SIGECAPS; depressed but more functional
What are the diagnostic criteria for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder?
Five symptoms present in final week before onset of menses & go away by post menses
Symptoms: marked affective lability, irritability, depressed mood, tension/anxiety + SIGECAPS
What are the diagnostic criteria for Substance/Medication Induced Depressive Disorder?
Prominent & persistent mood disturbance; symptoms occur soon after intoxication/withdrawal/exposure to a substance/medication
What are the diagnostic criteria for depressive disorder due to another medical condition?
Prominent & persistent depressed mood (dominates clinical picture; direct pathophysiological effect of another medical condition
