Appt details are saved for rescheduling, and when scheduling again a warning will appear

If appt amounts are automatically or manually calculated
How do you edit the view in the appt book?
Use “view” in menu to customize providers, operators, time range, displayed days
what is the appt tracker history ?
Logs all changes made to appts, shows details by date

Setup >practice appt setup>hover detail setup, enable/disable per workstation
Who do you “break appt” ?
“Appts”, add notes if needed, “Break appt”, confirm to move it to the “unscheduled list”

Used for financial notes and pre-statement remarks

Ensure no allocation problems, outstanding claims, predeterminations

Green- Personal payment
Royal blue- Insurance claim/ payment
Red- Adjustment
How do you change the “Head of household” ?
“Family file”> “edit”> “set head of household”> highlight patient and confirm
How to set up specific privacy requests ?
“Privacy options”> “set up alert”, it will then appear red on fam file
What info should be in “patient notes” ?
Patient preferences, concerns, additional med/health notes
What should you do before sending a secondary insurance claim ?
Print/electronically send the secondary claim form after receiving the primary insurance EDI

The insurance company sends the reimbursement directly to the dental office instead of patient
