Difficulty thinking

Affects Language and Orientation

Non-cognitive: psychiatric + behavioural problems
- MHRA: Antipsychotics inc risk of stroke + death in elderly w dementia

A

Mild-moderate:
- First line: AChE inhibitors (donepezil)
- Alt: memantine (moderate)

Severe:
- Memantine

Convulsive (generalised tonic clonic seizures) (including febrile) >5 min
