a. Aphasia: absence or impairment of ability to communicate through writing, speech or signs
b. Apraxia: inability to perform purposive movements without sensory or motor impairment

d. Loss of executive function: impairment in ability to think abstractly, plan, initiate, sequence, monitor, and stop complex behaviors
