Ability
Inherited from your parents, stable traits that determine an individuals ability to learn/acquire skills.
Qualitative
- deals with descriptions or opinions
- eg, interviews and observations
Quantitive data
- involves numbers and facts
- eg, questionnaires and surveys
Arousal
A physical or mental state of alertness varying from deep sleep to intense excitement
Intrinsic motivation
- drive that come from within resulting in pride of self-satisfaction.
Extrinsic motivation
Motivation to perform well or to win in order to gain external rewards.

Direct agression
Agressive act that involves physical contact with others - tackle in rugby/punch in boxing/barge in football
Indirect agression
- an agressive that is on an object and doesn’t involve physical contact - hitting the ball hard in tennis, smashing shuttle cock in badminton
