A

E:e.g. depression occurs ion approx 20% of the pop on the other hand antisocial personality disorder affects around 3% of people.
E:classifying abnormality will always be somewhat subjective since the researchers must decide what counts as rare enough to be “statistical deviation”.

E:in the USSR, political dissidents were diagnosed with ‘sluggish schitzophrenia’ because there is n o rational rest to oppose socialism therefore it must deprive from mental illness.
E:this shows the potential for abuse of the social norms definition.
