creation of an artificial external opening into the stomach (enteral feeding e.g. in IBD)

anti-inflammatory drug used to treat IBD
Mucositis
inflammation of a mucous membrane, frequently seen in the oral cavity (cancer)

abnormal growth of cells - a tumor (benign or malignant) (cancer)
Neutropenia
abnormally low number of neutrophils in the blood (defence cells) (cancer)
Odynophagia
pain upon swallowing (cancer)
Oesophageal varices
abnormal and enlarged veins in the oesophagus that blocks normal blood flow to the liver (liver disease)
Oseophagitis
inflammation of the oesoaphagus (cancer)

low urine output (kidney disease)

removal of fatty tissue that encompasses the stomach and large intestine (cancer)

excessive thirst (diabetes)

persistent desire to empty but ineffectual and painful straining at stool or in urination (cancer)
Trismus
difficulty in opening the mouth (cancer)
Stricture
an abnormal narrowing of a body passage (IBD)
