it’s a condition in which one human being was owned by another.
The Thirteen Colonies Definition:
The thirteen British colonies in North America that joined together and became the United States of America after adopting the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

Migration is the movement of either people or animals from one area to another.
Indentured Slave Definition:
A form of labour where an individual is under contract to work without a salary to repay an indenture or loan.
Abolition Definition:
Formally put an end to (a system, practice, or institution).

The sea journey undertaken by slave ships from West Africa to the West Indies.
Plantation Definition:
Colonisation or settlement of emigrants, especially of English and then Scottish families in Ireland in the 16th–17th centuries under government sponsorship.
Caribbean Definition:
The region consisting of the Caribbean Sea, its islands (including the West Indies), and the surrounding coasts.
Convict Definition:
A person found guilty of a criminal offence and serving a sentence of imprisonment.
Colony Definition:
A group of people who leave their native country to form in a new land a settlement subject to, or connected with, the parent nation. the country or district settled or colonised: Many Western nations are former European colonies.
