EX - Ukraine - 8M refugee, 2M in Poland = traditional attitude is positive and ‘welcoming’ to refugees
- UK getting backlash and accused for producing obstacles to Ukrainians achieving residents

A

media term > geographical
same as a refugee but motives are economic migrant.
Not welcome because seen as pressure on services
but CA - economic migrants are there to work = pay taxes = benefiting society
