devotes all its attention to resolving it
Short story
Which is a complete retelling of a person’s life from
birth to death.
Biography
Highlights a specific aspect or period of a real
person’s life, serving as a shorter, more focused version of a
biography.
Memoir
Unlike the short story which is typically fiction, is
a brief, written contemplation of an idea or real-life situation that
can be read in one sitting.
Essay
Makes use of poetry to achieve its form.
Its uniqueness is found on the way it is delivered.
Its performative aspect, something not required of poetry, makes it a whole different form.
Oral Literature
Most diverse form of literature.
Its newer in the sense that it has only started refining itself as a literature.
Its diversity comes from the way it is perceived, either through billboards, advertisements, magazines, radios, through websites, or even cinemas as movies.
