For a patient in conscious VT what is the treatment?
- Loading amiodarone 300mg in 100mL 5% dex over 20-30 minute (consider BP!)
- Consider cardiology and cath lab esp if thrombus is cause
- Consider elective DCR
For a patient in AF what is the treatment?
- Consider amiodarone loading 300mg in 100mL 5% dex over 20-30 minute (consider BP!)
- Consider elective DCR
For a patient with severe bradycardia what is the treatment?
- Atropine 500-600mcg up to a total of 3mg
- Consider external pacing
For a patient with SVT what is the treatment?
- Adenosine 6 mg , 12mg , 12mg
