- characterized by or reflecting a state of moral or cultural decline
e.g. a decaying, decadent Britan - luxuriously self-iundulgent

self-indulgent
characterized by doing or tending to do exactly what one wants, especially when this involves pleasure or idleness.
e.g. a self-indulgent extra hour of sleep

shoplifter
a person who steals goods from a store while pretending to be a customer
crease

frown in an angry or bad-tempered way
e.g. She scowled at him defiantly.
reek of
smell strongly and unpleasantly
e.g. I don’t like being in this house alone. When Andrew is here, it feels like his house, which it is. But when he’s not here, the whole place reeks of Nina. Her perfume emanates from every crack and crevice–she’s marked her territory with her scent, like an animal.
