What is a proposition?

A

Anything that can be offered to a customer.

This can include things like advertisements, products, offer bundles, even service actions.

The actual definition is: “The proposed course of action.”

Proposition attributes

A
  1. Belongs to a Group and to an Issue through the Group (hieararcy Issue - Group - Proposition)
  2. New properties can be assigned to every proposition:
    These property can be an image or description, a price, the actual cost, or the customer lifetime value threshold required for eligibility.

How to create a proposition property?

A
  1. define the property on the Proposition Management landing page. During that process you declare the property name, property type and the property scope
  2. make it available to a proposition. To do so, open the proposition grouping and select the property from a property list. Only properties within allowable scope are displayed.

Proposition property scopes?

A
  • Scope global (top): available to all propositions in the system
  • Scope issue: available to all propositions within the same issue
  • Scope group: available to all propositions within the same group

Proposition standard reports?

A
  • Accept Rate - Accept rate by a proposition group.
  • Volume by Channel - Information regarding which channel the propositions are accepted or rejected.
  • Volume by Proposition - How frequently a proposition is being offered to the customer.
  • Recent Interactions – A list of recent interaction in a chronological order.
