Situation: Designated Apidra Lead
Analysis: Apidra moved from Tier 2 status to Tier 3 with a documented step edit of failure on
Homolog.
Results: Able to stabilize the lose of BCBS, and grew market share with existing customer base on other plans.
Tell me about a time when you balanced speed and accuracy in making a decision.
Situation: Speaker program with Dr. Nancy Busch. Dropped in my lap with a three week lag time.
Analysis: Spent an entire night inputting all required information into trace. Drafting together emails to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
Results: Our team was able to get over 40 invitees of Tier I, and II prescribes to attend including pharmacist, and mid-levels. Ultimately I was able to increasing the awareness of Toujeo in Fall River and Providence marketplace.
Provide an example of a time when you gathered input from key stakeholders to make a decision about a project/initiative.
Situation: In 2009 while at Novartis I sold a product Reclast for osteoporosis. I gathered information from doctors who wrote Reclast like Dr. Joseph Tucci.
Analysis: He and others talked about fracture protection, safety and reliability of Reclast as a reason to prescribe.
Results: I was able to increase his referrals of candidates who meet the criteria for Reclast. Increasing his business as well as the care for patients and increasing the total prescriptions for Reclast. We went from 2 to 3 per month to 5 to 6.
Describe a situation when you believed a decision was taking too long to be made.
Situation: Companies lack of Knowledge around EMR systems, and how it relates to prescribing behaviors.
Analysis: In order to be a launch powerhouse the New England region must understand and develop tactics around EMR systems to effectively launch any brand. Administered through the practice or system updated and who was in charge.
Results: Rapid uptake of Toujeo in the PrimaCare system.
