A
- inflammation of the tendons within the first extensor compartment of the wrist
- wrist pain and swelling

clinical features of de quervain’s tenosyovitis?
A
- pain near the base of the thumb with associated swelling

A
Finkelstein’s test is positive
- longitudanal traction and ulnar deviation to the affected thumb
- pain at the radial styloid process and along the length of the extensor pollicis brevis/longus is a positive test

A
- physio/ steroids / wrist splint
2. surgical decompression
