How does a DDoS work?
A
- Multiple machines infected by malware work together with the leader machine
- Webserver is sent an overwhelming amount of traffic at the same time
- This causes the web server to fail or time-out as a result. A denial of service.

- Using anti-malware software
- Using firewalls
- Changing passwords regularly

- Creating a backup (Lost data can be replaced)
- Installing a Firewall (The network will be monitored and prevent attackers from gaining access and deleting data)
- Installing Anti-malware software (If viruses are installed, they can be detected t and removed by the anti-malware software)
