-For extrapyramidal disorders: 1-4 mg once or twice a daily.?
-For all forms on Parkinson’s: 0.5-6 mg per day.

Whats the Pharmacology for Benztropine?
It is an active inhibitor of both cholinergic + hinstamine receptors.
What are some drug interactions for Benztropine?
It may decrease the effects of phenothiazines and haloperidol. May cause tardive dyskinesia when used with haloperidol. May also result in heat stroke, paralytic ileus, and hyperthermia.
What are contraindications of Benztropine?
Use with caution in pregnant women and in patients with tachycardia prostatic hypertrophy or angel-closure glaucoma. PREGNANCY CATEGORY C.
What are adverse effects of Benztropine?
-Dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, nausea, numbness of fingers, depression and nervousness.
-Serious potential adverse effects: tachycardia, toxic psychosis, and heat abnormalities.
What are consultations for Benztropine?
-Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants.
-Avoid prolonged exposure to hot weather.
-May take with food or milk if GI upset occurs.

What are the common dosages for Dicyclomine?
For IBS-
Oral: 10 - 20 mg three to four times a day. 30 MINS BEFORE MEALS.
Intramuscular: 20mg four times a day.
What is the pharmacology for Dicyclomine?
it causes inhibition of acetylcholine at postganglionic parasympathetic receptor sites. Excretion occurs primarily through urine.
