Why does a user continue to use drugs?
Reward of feeling euphoria > negative consequences. If user has positive experience, the user is more likely to use again
What happens if a user stops using drugs?
Withdrawal = occurrence of symptoms when a person stops using drug; signifies that person had developed physical dependence on drug
