Q

What were Philo’s ideas?

A
  • General laws of science can explain how the world evolved, like an animal or vegetable
  • Human minds like to impose order
  • God could have made many poor versions before creating our universe
  • A house is created by the input of many, so universe could be the product of many minds; polytheism
  • Matter simply obeys its laws
  • Our part of the universe might be designed, but what about the rest of it?
